Do Not Buy any Hair Products Until You Read This Chi Flat Iron Review

I’m normally not a beautify columnist. I am not hair stylist, a beautician or a product tester either. But you would assume I was if you just saw the dozens of bottles of hair goop I had around my house, and the cartons filled with hair care appliances.

I am just an unlucky girl who was born with bad hair. You’d feel unlucky, too, if you saw the sleek and naturally beautiful locks my sister has. I’m the one who got the bad hair genes, the girl who panics when the weather gets wet. I’m the slightly hysterical one who keeps bottles of  emergency spray bottles in the glove compartment at all times. If you saw pictures of me and my sister posing together you’d laugh because we look alike – except for the frizzy, electric hair on my head.
It was so embarassing!

Over the years I spent thousands of dollars on products, hoping I could have beautiful (or at least decent) hair like she did –  and totally wasted my money. When I think about the cash I threw down the toilet in pursuit of nice hair it makes me want to cry.

I wouldn’t have minded spending so much money had anything worked, yet nothing I used helped my kinky hair, and sometimes the products made it worse. Some hair stuff I used made my hair limp and dirty. I tried straightening irons which smoothed my hair temporarily –  until the humid air reached it and  my hair became frizzy again in a few minutes. Ultimately the hot irons damaged my hair, which made the frizziness worse. I even tried home straightening – this made pieces of my hair break off!

One morning in my office bathroom, I was disgusted at how my hair looked. I made a decision: Tonight I would shave all of my hair off with an electric razor. I planned to surprise everybody in the office the next day with a bald head.

Later that day I ran into Sarah, a girl from another department with worse hair than I had — that day her hair looked fantastic! Naturally I complimented her hair, and wondered if she was wearing a wig.

Sarah told me her hair helper was the CHI Flat Iron, and she loves it so much she bought two!  It produces moist heat, she said, and it seals the hair cuticle against humidity so that the smoothness stays.

The evidence on her head could not be disputed, so I made a decision to try one last hair appliance before hitting the electric razor – the CHI Flat Iron. I’m so glad I did, because I love it!

The CHI Flat Iron is really easy to use. First, I prepare my hair with the CHI Silk Infusion, or use the CHI on my damp hair. After some practice, I was able to straighten all of my hair in a few minutes. Depending on the technique I used, my hair turns out straight, wavy or with frizz-free shiny curls – my choice! This versatility makes the CHI Flat Iron the #1 favorite among hairstyling professionals.

The CHI Flat Iron works by producing moist heat to seal the hair cuticle, and locks in color and repels humidity. The CHI Flat Iron is a professional-grade straightening iron, which is not the same as  low grade irons with a simple heating element (I had three of these). Sarah told me she was able to find it at the temporarily discounted price of $79.99 – a bargain in my book after the thousands I spent over the years trying to make my hair behave. I was so happy with the CHI Flat iron, I permanently canceled my plan to fire up the razor and go bald. And when I visit my sister, both of us have beautiful hair.

Buy the CHI Flat Iron, and you’ll be able to toss out all of your failed hairstyling products. The CHI Flat Iron is gentle enough to be used every day. I’m sure you’ll be as thrilled as I am with the CHI Flat Iron — for no more bad hair days.
